This week we were stoked to do our first international workshops for the teachers and students of Royal Institute Colombo. On Tuesday afternoon Ed held a workshop for 50 teachers on how to create character in narrative writing. Then on Wednesday and Thursday we held workshops for Years 8, 9 and 10, a total of more than 300 students. We really enjoyed engaging with both staff and students, and for a while Ed felt like a cricketer, as he was asked to sign his autograph for about 50 students after one session. Since the sessions we’ve already had students email us some excellent creative work.
